The Future Looks Bright For AERC

American Energy Resources's New Discovery

We are excited to announce that our most recent strike, the Betty Thunder 777 well, is now in permanent production. This is the seventh well drilled in the Bessie May Bonita Development, LP 7 well program. This well was drilled with the use of 3D seismic technology, which enables us to visualize and pin point the top of the anticline trap (Dome) with our drill bit. We expect this multiple pay zone well to be a strong producer for the partnership and further increase the company's proved reserves. With the conclusion of this program we stand at four successful wells out of seven wells drilled.

American Energy Resources's New Project

We have now launched our new seven well drilling project, the Fortune Ridge Prospect, LP. This too will be structured as a limited partnership to take maximum advantage of the tax benefits that are provided with investing in oil and gas. This project will be focused in the oil prolific Central Kansas Uplift Region of Kansas. The state of Kansas has produced over 6.3 billion cumulative barrels of oil. Once again, we will be utilizing the highest level of 3-D seismic technology on this drilling program. Using this technology allows us to target similar anticline structural traps (domes) that collectively have produced in excess of 2.5 billion barrels of oil from this region. This project will include leases held in Graham and Rooks Counties. According to the Kansas Geological Survey, in 2008 Rooks County was the #2 oil producing county in Kansas with over 246 million cumulative barrels of oil produced to date. The Fortune Ridge Prospect, LP will also be targeting additional pay zones within the Arbuckle, Reagan Sand and the Granite Wash formations. This aspect of the program further increases the potential of finding commercial quantities of oil, as these pay horizons tend to be strong and long lasting producers when they are discovered.

The Future

As oil prices are predicted to continue to increase, we are focused on increasing our land holdings in areas with prolific oil production and utilizing the highest level of 3-D seismic technology to increase our odds of finding commercial quantities of oil.
